Little adventures.
Big discoveries.

Watch Merlin and Enzo in English, French and Spanish, then compare the earlier Pip and Dot experiments below.

AI-assisted drafts · Adult review

AI-written scripts and generated artwork. Latest cut: expressive ElevenLabs narration and an original AI-generated score. Earlier drafts use local neural narration and locally synthesized music. No teacher approval or evidence of better learning outcomes yet. Not released through Famoo’s child-content API.

MERLIN & ENZO · TEACHER REVIEW

Try a little adventure. Tell us what you think.

Start with the counting film, then try an activity. These are early adult-led prototypes, with partial England EYFS/KS1 curriculum mappings, not a complete course. No sign-in or API key is needed.

What can I change or try?

Choose story backgrounds and, in the maths activities, familiar objects or contextual surprises. English instructions stay on screen while number voices can be English, French or Spanish. Word building is English-only: cat, hat, sun, dog, pig and bed, with illustration or AI-generated photorealistic pictures. A fluent adult models the words and pure sounds; recorded phonics are not yet approved for child playback.

For a big screen, show or mirror the activity on your TV using your usual connection, select “TV + phone controller”, then open the phone controller on a phone and enter the displayed code. Keep the lesson tab active. Prototype rooms expire after one hour; automatic casting is not included.

Teacher feedback we would value
  1. Which year group and taught skills would each activity suit? Are any examples, pictures or representations misleading?
  2. Are the words, explanations, counting and maths accurate? Do the activities support understanding rather than guessing?
  3. Are the pacing, voices, captions, distractors and wrong-answer feedback helpful? Please note the language and exact example.
  4. Are the adult instructions clear, and are the child buttons and phone/TV controls easy to use?
  5. What should we change first, and which missing skill should we build next?

Please send your notes back to the person who shared this page. Include the activity, settings, device and anything that did not work. There is no feedback form or learner data collection on this review page.

AI-assisted prototype content. Teacher, pronunciation, picture-recognition, accessibility and real-device review remain pending. Progression is adult-selected; a correct tap is not evidence of mastery. These demos are not automatically released through Famoo’s child-content API.

NEW / MERLIN & ENZO / THREE LANGUAGES

A bridge to your twin

Help Merlin hop across the valley to Enzo. One hop for every number, a missing-number thinking pause, then a faster second crossing.

English 1:11 · Français 1:09 · Español 1:12 · ElevenLabs Jessica narration in all three versions.

Play the interactive Merlin & Enzo counting bridge → · Choose any missing numbers, 10 or 20 steps, language and pace. The film has a four-second thinking pause; the interactive version waits for your answer.

New storybook valley, editable Blender character models rendered as animated poses, original AI-assisted scripts and ElevenLabs narration. Merlin is the smaller twin with the green bow tie; Enzo is broader with the blue bow. Original ElevenLabs instrumental music returns quietly beneath the words.

What still needs reviewing?
  • Teacher: full audiovisual check of all three versions, each hop and spoken number, the hidden fourteen and the 10 + 10 = 20 conclusion.
  • French and Spanish: pronunciation, naturalness and learner suitability have not been independently verified. ElevenLabs generated these voices; no vendor certification is claimed.
  • Characters: likeness, cuteness, coat grooming and natural joint movement remain in development.
  • Accessibility: captions, contrast, phone readability, volume and pacing with learners. Faster counting is optional practice, not an assessment.

Adult-review prototype. AI-written scripts, AI-generated background, voice and music, and procedurally modelled Blender dogs. No teacher or child approval claimed. Not automatically released through Famoo’s child-content API.

LATEST CUT / EARLY NUMBER / COUNTING 1–20

Pip & Dot’s rainbow bridge

Help Dot light the bridge. Count slowly together, solve the missing twentieth light, then try a faster round.

1:06 · Two counting rounds · A real thinking pause · Two groups of ten

New multi-pose Pip and Dot artwork, expressive ElevenLabs Jessica narration, a newly generated instrumental score and precise Remotion animation. Music drops under speech and becomes quiet while the learner thinks. Famoo’s characters and Blender are reserved for the next stage.

AI-assisted review draft. Original AI-written script, AI-generated artwork, narration and music. Created in collaboration with ElevenLabs. No source video, music or script copied. Not teacher-approved or released through Famoo’s child-content API.

What changed from the first pilot?

A short story replaces the abstract star exercise; characters now point, think, celebrate and move across the bridge. Numbers, voices, lit objects and musical cues share one timeline. The answer is withheld for over three seconds after the question. Two clearly separated rows of ten support the final total.

This is a 65.6-second production experiment. It uses animated 2D character poses, not a full 3D rig or lip-sync performance.

Comparison with the original counting video

The Singing Walrus original uses three increasingly fast counting rounds, a repeating musical invitation, clear counted objects and changing scenes. Our cut retains repetition and one-to-one counting, adds a bridge story and an explicit missing-number pause, and uses two rounds rather than three. The original provides more counting repetitions.

Source reviewed using its full available captions and sampled visual frames. This is a production/design comparison, not a completed human listening review or an experiment showing better engagement or learning.

Exactly what still needs a human check
  • Teacher: watch and listen to the entire cut; check each spoken number, its light and caption, particularly the teen numbers in the faster round.
  • Early-years teacher: check whether 1.2 seconds per number in the first round and 0.6 seconds in turbo suit the intended learners; pause or replay where needed.
  • Teacher: verify the one-more question, final cardinality and two groups of ten; decide whether the equation notation suits the age group.
  • Supervised learner test: do children point and count accurately, answer before the reveal, enjoy it and transfer counting to real objects? Compare with the source using the same checks.
  • Accessibility: check audio balance, caption timing, phone readability, pause/replay/fullscreen and a captions-off viewing on intended devices.
  • Before commercial/child release: confirm ElevenLabs plan/entity and distribution permissions, Remotion commercial licence eligibility, all asset provenance and the actual child-access boundary.
01 / EYFS / early number

The 20-star mission

Count 1–20 with one-to-one correspondence, cardinality and groups of ten.

  • A teacher watches and listens to the complete video, verifying every claim, example and curriculum tag.
  • Check age suitability, pacing, pronunciation, spelling, captions and phone readability; compare with a small supervised learner test.
  • Check the model/voice/asset provenance and app-distribution rights. Confirm Epidemic coverage separately if replacing this original soundtrack.
  • Test accessible controls, pause, replay, fullscreen and captions on the actual Famoo devices.
  • Require an approved delivery route, adult/child access boundary and withdrawal controls before child release. These public draft pages are adult review material.

Designed to invite thinking.

Short segments, clear visual cues, worked examples, deliberate pauses and new examples to try. These are design choices to evaluate with a teacher and learners; popularity is not a quality measure.

These videos use a controlled native player with no platform-inserted advertising, recommendation feed or social-platform controls. Content suitability and the child-access boundary still need approval.

Epidemic Sound was not used in this first cut. Confirm that the subscription covers miLearnDo/Famoo in-app distribution before adding a licensed track.
